The Mailroom Barber Company
8 oz Shampoo - Tea Tree and Mint
Keep your hair and scalp balanced by giving it what it needs.
Free from Parabens, sulfates, silicones, gluten, & harsh detergents. Color safe.
Most shampoos use harsh detergents to strip your hair of its natural oil. This leaves the scalp unbalanced and irritated, causing the overproduction of oil. This causes greasy hair, dandruff, frizziness, and a whole list of problems.
Using this shampoo & conditioner, your hair will be less oily, you will have less dandruff, and overall it will be softer and easier to style.
Scent: Tea tree & mint.
The Mailroom Barber Company:
In March of 2014, owner & founder Robert Watkins first learned of the reality of human trafficking - that by consuming products with corrupt supply chains, we are contributing to the problem: sources that use underpaid, child, and slave laborers.
At the same time, Watkins was fed up with the cheap, mass produced hair and beard products surrounding the barbering industry.
As a way to reduce his impact in the growth of human trafficking, supply awareness and socially responsible products to an irresponsible market, and make products that actually work and last, he started The Mailroom Barber Co, making Pomade and other products by hand, strictly using 100% ethically sourced ingredients and packaging. All products are still made in house at The Mailroom Barber & Studio in Florence, SC with ethical sourcing and manufacturing being the driving factor.
When a company claims that they source their materials and supplies Ethically or even have Fair Trade certification, this means that they ensure that the products being sourced are created in safe facilities by workers who are treated well and paid fair wages to work legal hours. It also implies that the supplier is respecting animal rights and the environment during the production and manufacturing of the products.
Humans are taken advantage of in many manual labor industries to drive down prices and thicken profit margins. Men, women, and children are forced to work in unspeakable conditions, oftentimes for no wages at all. Using ethically made products is one of the easiest ways to be involved in stopping the abuse of human life, because it puts a dent in the market of unethical production and forced or slave labor which is why ethical sourcing is at the core of what we do.
